Dupli-Group formerly known as Dupli-Graphic was opened just after World War II. Founder “Mac” McCormack and his team were back from the service and eager to live the peacetime American dream of running a small, quality driven business. The attention to detail, work ethic and adaptation to emerging technology earned Dupli a place of prominence amongst the Chicagoland graphic design community, a niche we still proudly serve today. With full-service printing and bindery capabilities coupled with a convenient north-side location literally next to the Chicago Transit Authority’s Lincoln/Addison station, Dupli rose to prominence in the Illinois printing community.
In its second generation of operation, Walter “Wally” McCormack built on his father’s vision for the company, expanding it to digital, direct mail and wide-format printing. A pioneer in the early 2000’s digital printing world, Dupli began offering clients short-run, on-demand printing delivered by one of the first HP Indigio presses in Illinois. Dupli-Group was also an early adopter of Forest Stewardship environmentally sustainable printing techniques. The company was an early adopter to soy ink and transitioned to 100% soy usage in 2005.
Today Dupli-Group offers clients much more than traditional printing. Our expanded team includes experienced pre-press staff with design training, seasoned pressroom professionals that don’t accept “good enough” and a sales/support staff second to none.
Our direct mail operation lets you personalize your correspondence, printing on a variety of materials in our digital plant. We offer full-service concepts to post office service backed by NCOA Postal Service verification software.
Where will the future take us? No one knows for sure, but you can bet Dupli-Group will be alongside our client partners building brands on the latest technology.
